About the role

Able is seeking a Mid/Senior Full-Stack Node.js/React Developer to help build scalable, high-performing backend systems and participate in creating UI applications using React and related technologies. As an engineer, you will ensure the high performance, scalability, and reliability of software solutions that align with Able’s mission. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers and product managers, to deliver results consistently and sustainably. The successful candidate will have a passion for innovation, stay up-to-date with emerging technologies, and possess excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a remote environment.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and develop backend services.
• Manage the database (PostgreSQL).
• Develop web-based applications.
• Participate in defining the architecture for all backend services.
• Develop high-performance applications by writing testable, reusable, and efficient code.
• Implement effective security protocols, data protection measures, and storage solutions.
• Define quality guidelines and provide technical support.

 

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in software development (Node.js).
• Strong Node.js programming skills.
• Experience in developing and consuming APIs.
• Good understanding of databases (PostgreSQL, Redis).
• Good understanding of Git.
• Good knowledge of web stacks, libraries, and frameworks.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams in a remote environment.
• English level: Intermediate or higher.

 

Nice to have

• Experience with Medusa JS.
• Good knowledge of Web UI technologies: HTML5, CSS3, React, TypeScript.
• Experience with React Query.
• Experience with Next UI.

 

Location

Able operates within the CET (Central European Time) zone. Applicants from any country are welcome to apply for the position as long as they are located within approximately ± 4 hours of CET. This ensures optimal collaboration and communication during working hours.
