This dedicated team is responsible for identifying, preventing, and combating fraudulent activities, ensuring a secure and seamless shopping experience for both buyers and sellers.

About Your role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Fraud Operations Team Manager to lead our team of fraud analysts in protecting our growing e-commerce marketplace. As the Fraud Operations Team Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire fraud detection and prevention process, from identifying and preventing fraudulent activities to educating our users about fraud prevention. You will also be responsible for unlocking further Eneba growth opportunities by developing and implementing new fraud prevention strategies and tools through collaboration with product and tech teams.
Responsibilities

- Develop and implement fraud prevention strategies, for creating best-in-class fraud prevention systems and tools, in line with the overall business strategic directions while ensuring Eneba’s stable growth.
- Improve and oversee the fraud detection and investigation process, ensuring timely and accurate resolution of fraud cases and disputes.
- Manage a team of fraud analysts, including setting goals, providing feedback, coaching and ensuring their overall professional development.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, such as marketing, product, engineering, customer service, legal, and law enforcement, to ensure effective fraud management and compliance.
- Facilitate the identification and implementation of new fraud detection tools and technologies.
- Monitor and report on fraud trends, patterns, metrics, and provide recommendations for improvement and optimization.
- Share market and internal data insights cross-functionally as well as to management.
Requirements

- 4+ years of experience in fraud management and prevention, preferably in the gaming or e-commerce industry.
- Strong knowledge of fraud detection and prevention methods, tools, and systems.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data and identify patterns, experience with SQL is an advantage.
- Problem-solving and simplification skills with an open attitude and a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Ability, willingness, and comfort operating in a highly uncertain, fast-paced environment where priorities might change and resources might be limited.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication, collaboration and stakeholder management skills, working effectively across a variety of functions and levels, incl. external parties.
- Experimentation design and implementation expertise, clearly demonstrated knowledge and high cadence of validation. Financial and business model acumen, specializing in marketplaces and platforms.

€45,000 – €70,000 a year
*Salary ranges may vary. We’re seeking candidates with varied experience levels; from individual contributors to functional leaders in this space.
*We’re an international team and our business language of choice is English. Good English level is required, proficiency is preferred.
